Many 1930s semis in Henleaze still have the bathroom and toilet as two small rooms. Taking out the wall between them made space for a walk-in shower beside the bath.
Under the old bath we found two joists that had rotted from a slow leak. We had allowed a day for repairs in the quote and used it. The tiler redid one section of the shower wall where a grout line had drifted, before the clients saw it.
The bathroom took four weeks as quoted. The tiler had to redo one section of the shower wall, which they spotted before we did.
