Shower room under the eaves with a rooflight

Fire doors and mains-wired smoke alarms throughout the house

The owners had two children sharing a bedroom and didn’t want to move. The loft had 2.4 metres of head height at the ridge, which was enough for a full rear dormer without lowering any ceilings.
We built from scaffolding at the back for the first six weeks and only opened the loft to the house when the staircase went in. The shower room fits under the lower part of the roof, with a rooflight above the shower so there is standing height where it’s needed.
Clear quote, every line explained. Finished on the date in the contract.
